Pep Rally!

On Friday, August 23, St. Joe's held its first pep rally of the year. As tradition dictates, it included the school song, a flickerball game, and the cheer-off between the classes. This year's first festive rally also included a "Back-to-School Survivor" competition. Each class selected one representative, and the four students faced off in a fierce challenge. Pep Club Co-President Liz Tomon created the game, where each representative is given a single school-related item, such as a pencil. The students must then use only their item to accomplish a variety of tasks, such as eating Jell-O.
As usual, the seniors class dominated- winning flickerball, the cheer competition, and Survivor. Although the rally is competitive, the entire school was united and cheering during the first pep rally of the school year.
